Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year, Indian Creek Otters! We’re so excited to welcome our students and families back for another year of learning and growth! This year, we’re otterly driven and ready for an amazing school year.

Class Placement

You may login to PowerSchool to find out your child's teacher. Please remember that there is always a possibility of changes. With new student enrollments and numbers changing daily, we sometimes have to make changes to keep classes balanced. Families will get to meet their classroom teacher at Back to School night on Tuesday, August 11th from 4:00-6:00.

School Hours

Supervision for students does not start until 8:30 a.m.

Please do not drop your child off before 8:30

8:30 a.m.-- Students may begin arriving. Breakfast is available in the cafeteria

8:50 a.m.-- School Begins

3:30 p.m. -- End of Day

**Early Release every Wednesday at 1:30**

Bus Information

We are excited to offer the new BusRight app for our school district families!

After a successful pilot test this summer, this app is ready to help you track your child's bus on its way to and from school.

Student Bus Badges Students will receive a special badge to scan when getting on and off the bus. Badges will be handed out at your child's school during open houses and back-to-school events. Look for more information from your child's school.

Features of the App:

Live GPS Tracking: Watch the bus move along its route on a live map.
Estimated Time of Arrival Notifications: Get a pop-up message when the bus is close to your stop so you don't have to wait outside in bad weather.
Route Status Alerts: Get notified when the bus starts its route and when it finishes its journey.
Direct Updates: Receive instant messages from our transportation team about traffic, delays, or mechanical issues.

How to Get Started:

Download the App: Parents are invited to download the BusRight app today from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Set Up Your Account: Kuna School District will send you an invitation to set up your account in the app

Apply for Free and Reduced Meals for Your Child

Applications for free and reduced price meals are officially open, and we encourage all parents to apply!

Friendly Reminders

In the mornings, when dropping off your child, please make sure you are pulling all the way forward. If you need to help your child out of the car or your child needs a little more time to transition, feel free to park.
If your child has a change in their after school plan, please make sure to contact their teacher or the front office.
All parents need to check in at the office before going past the front gates. We appreciate your help with this policy.
